Greeting from the Fire Chief
Welcome to the Kimball Township Fire Department’s website. Our department serves the communities of Kimball and portions of Saint Clair and Clyde Townships in Saint Clair County, Michigan. On behalf of the 65 men and women that serve the residents, businesses, and visitors to our area as first responders, Fire Corps, and auxiliary we are pleased to offer this site as a means to learn more about the services the Department offers from our two strategically located fire stations.
The Kimball Township Fire Department responds to approximately 900 calls for service annually, provides fire inspections to 300 occupancies, and conducts numerous fire prevention and education services in an effort to reduce injuries and fire-related damages.
This website is designed to provide you with information related to the Department that serves you through our dedicated and paid staff and on-call firefighters, emergency medical services providers, communications team, and volunteer corps. Our members have tremendous pride and spirit in the community and train diligently to offer excellent fire and life safety services in the most effective, efficient, safest, and professional way possible. Included in our mission is being ready and fully capable of addressing any hazard that arises and being able to effectively mitigate the issue with sufficient resources.

The Organizational Mission of the Kimball Township Fire Department is to protect the lives and property of the people of the district from fires, hazardous materials incidents, and natural disasters; to save lives by providing emergency medical services; and to prevent fires through prevention and education programs.
